Quick question, how come we never see the T-28s at Legends? There seem to be a myriad of examples across Europe and it seems a somewhat missed oppourtunity to not have them taking part. They are from the right era after all.
Does anyone know of a good place to watch the show from outside of the airfield? I very much want to go this year but its looking like money might be an issue. Can anyone offer any handy tips??
Ah yes, something I meant to ask a while back. What’s the rub with the P 47? I ve been seeing relatively recent pics of her on the forum but how far away is she from completion???
From the blog, Chris Vogelgesang Yak-3UA is at DX awaiting Legends and also. there is mention of a strong Hawker theme. So, 6 Hurricanes, Hart, Hind, 2 Furys????? All extremities crossed I fear:D
I had no idea there were so many under restoration in this country. Thats bloomin fantastic, now all I can do is imagine them all flying together………..sweet……….
Saw it fly past my house about 12 59. Awesome! I still cant believe how quick it is to get from my house (East London way) to the mall. As they left my eye sight, they appeared on the telly!
If you ll permit me to chime in on this thread, I would love to see 3 P 40s, all the airworthy Hurricanes and 3 Sea Furies. Definately my favourite aircraft and if im not mistaken such formations have never been seen in my lifetime. Admitedly im only 21 :p haha
