Drawings are routinely destroyed after being copied onto a micro film media (or digital scanning). I think your informant is giving you a political spin on routine procedures.

It seems like it. But maybe some extra transparency would go a long way to stop these theories from the start.

The market is pretty “tight” I’ve been working in the shipment industry for a couple of year now, but apart for costs and delivery time increase, there shouldn’t be any other negative implications.

even such prefabricated parts are not part of real shipbuilding capacity. As far as I know China has only delivered its first LNG carrier in 2006.

What do you mean with “tabs being kept”??
If you mean “tables of shipbuilding”, then they are indeed kept and as I have mentioned above, they are based on ordered Gross Tonnage (which is by the way a volume rather than weight)

How many LNGs were delivered in the meantime?
