This weekend I have been making a little extra space as there is a fourth volume about to join them

Ever had a go at“Over to you” by Roald Dahl, or Michael Carreck’s “Blaze of Glory”?
The first is a collection of short stories, (“They Shall Not Grow Old” my favoured) which originally appeared in various publications soon after the war, before the author became known for his “Tales of the unexpected”, and his famous childrens books.
The second is a a very vivid fiction(?) book by an ex navigator in Wellingtons early in the war.Great reading.

My own digital is just an all-in-one jobby, but my work partner, who is the creative half, is ordering up the 10D for delivery as and when.

    You lucky b……(ok webmaster, i got it!…s!!
I have an EOS 650 and assorted lenses, for a…. number of years now.I have taken great pictures in air shows, of moving things, family, holiday and general photography. For big enlargements I have used the Kodachromes 64 and 25 and lately the FUJI 50.I go for sharp, no- grain photos. The only digital camera that can come near the quality of the above combination, is this:
I do not want to spoil anyone’s mood by stating its price. As things stand now-financially speaking- I will be able to save enough cash for this thing, sometime in the next century. So, 35mm SLR it is for me, for the foreseeable future.

The 6.3 million effective pixel CMOS sensor used in the Canon EOS 10D is supported by Canon’s unique high power DIGital Imaging Core (DIGIC) processor. The speed at which the DIGIC processor works has allowed Canon to extend the number of full resolution images in burst sequences to 9, at a rate of 3 frames per second. As well as improved speed, DIGIC also helps produce more accurate colour rendition while reducing image noise.

Here a couple of Nokia killers for you!
The older Z5 on the left is hard to find, and is becoming almost a collectors item.
The Z7 is a modified version of the Z5.
Nothing exiting technologically speaking, but they are …..different!
