    Hi,

    Good topic!

My favourit vid would have to be ‘Akash Yoddha’ , a one hour film on the IAF . For a starved IAF nut like me, this CD was/is a great piece of work with superb photography and great shots of the MiG 21 Bison, Su 30 MKI and virtually all the aircraft in the IAFs inventory.

Hopefully they havent run out of copies!

    Hi,

    Shearer to replace Robson? hmm…..
    Gary Speed maybe?

If Middlesbrough can keep up their home form and improve on their away goal record, then they’ll be contendors for atleast Europe next season..
Someone earlier noted about the fall of ManUs domination , well am glad about that too.

Definately, great game of football, Also very very sporting of the ManU crowd wrt the applause for Ronaldo.
Why the heck did Fergie sub Beckham on so late, Veron was not at his best throughout the game, maybe Beckham sould’ve been subbed at the start of the second half…

But I also like the Milan-Ajax game.. Van Der Meyde was simply superb!

RE: Companies who Supplied Chemicals to Iraq

    Hi,

    Huh!
that means I totally mis-interpreted your “cruisin’ for a bruisin'” -remark-
If you meant sanctions, then I say well India has gotten around sanctions in the past so as to not affect its citizens much, If you recall after Shakti(Nuke tests) we had a whole host of sanctions from the US, Japan(our largest aid-donor) and the UK and many more Euro countries, I dont see how they affected India in a very significant way. Many if not all of those sanctions have been removed now.

Re your many Indian companies have been sanctioned remark.

All I can say is a huh! again.

RE: Companies who Supplied Chemicals to Iraq

    Hi,
    Le Carre,
If you are to saythats going to bomb India for supplying –alleged– dual use materials to Iraq, then They’ll have to bomb Iran, Pakistan, North Korea, Germany and what not and then come here.
It is just unimaginable that you think that the US will bomb India..I just cant get how you can think that!!
Re Rumsfeld, I meant to say that no US official/press release has condemned/cautioned India in any way for this –alleged– transfer.

G Eagle, playing with fire, huh! you guys should be much much more worried abt bombs landing in your backyard than any1 else.

    Re:

    Hi,
Why cant I edit my own post? anything wrong?

anyways, re the alleged involvement, NEC lawyer says that the eqpt exported can be used to make utensils, mobilephones and water pumps too. Also he says that there is no evidence of the eqpt being transferred to Iraq.
