I’ve seen it Duxford as part of the Utterly Butterly stand. My young lad was very interested in it.
Might aswell move everything out of the Grahame-White hangar as it’s always closed when I visit.
Could it be converted to a 2 seater if the owner wanted. Especially with the rules changing soon on carrying passengers.
Just the one Browning aperture in the leading edge…for a personal camera installation.

Thanks, I didn’t realise that.
Assuming the second photo is the later one, she loses upper wing registration, gains some stencils and had white outlined wing tip paint removed. Also outer machine gun holes added which implies they are different wings not just updated for civilian use.
Didn’t MH434 get some wings off another Spitfire at some point. Would that be sometime between those two photos?
Can you please post the link?
My search on Blenheim Society and face book has nothing on the engine run.

Mark, does this work for you? – https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/216349751762692/732865530111109/?notif_t=group_activity
Or, to put it another way, all four of which were ex RAF…
Weren’t all Spitfires once RAF. Not all IAC.
A dakota/c47 flew over my house at 5-35pm heading in a south easterly direction yesterday.
I wish I’d been near your house to see that. byetheway, where is you house?
I’m guessing but maybe a connection with Peter Teichman.
I never knew the spitfire had a connection to folding baby buggy’s .
It can’t be Peter Teichman’s Spitfire as it seems yet another presenter scrounges a flight in a 2-seater Spitfire.
Also, I thought the McLaren buggy was based on the B-52 undercarriage.
not spotted with the naked eye, but 2 Douglas A-4N Skyhawks N431FS and N434FS on flightradar24. Buzzing around now at 16,000 to 19,000ft over Germany, SW of Bremen.
wonder if he’ll fly in formation with this guy – http://jalopnik.com/5410892/81+year+old-builds-replica-world-war-ii-fighter-flies-cross+country
Making her first public appearance this morning, with a brief compass-swing, was Spitfire FR.XVIIIe G-BUOS / SM845. Sadly shot into low sun, but still a wonderful sight. Congratulations to all involved, this rebuild will set new standards again.
She looks great. Fantastic pictures, but in what way is this a higher standard than previous restrations?
So sad. It’s a bit like seeing a fox or deer head mounted as a hunting trophy.
I think we have already had the hefty donation in the spilt blood of the Commonwealth !
I think this is a first, but I agree with you. Would be nice to see it with rocket rails fitted.
