As Frankie Boyle once said, ‘Nobody thought Mel Gibson could play a Scot but look at him now! A wife beating, alcoholic, racist..’
LOL 😀

As you say, just an artistic version of it, don’t read into it so much…

You seriously need to get out more. Get some fresh air. It’s good for your heart.
I get about 2 or 3 hours of exercise a day, but thanks all the same 😉

BMI can do whatever they please, they aren’t representing the UK at the olympics, they are a private company.
This kit mostly the Scottish flag colours, not those of the Union it claims to represent. The red is an insignificant accenting colour on an otherwise blue and white design. The Union Jack is 37% red, 35% white and 28% blue. Worst of all she spent 2 years doing this, what a joke. It looks like she just decided to ignore the spec and just design some fashion piece for her own interests.

The kit has red, white and blue in it so I’m struggling so see your point (if there is one).
It’s not my point, it’s the point a great many people have been making. It’s mostly blue, with an insignificant amount of red. It’s far more similar to the Scottish Saltire than the Union Jack. This is very evident from the pictures…

Wondering if in Future, when politicians and Royals travel abroad, will use one of the MRTT’s, or will they still be leasing out a British Airways 777?
Always seemed crazy to me that one of them was not kept on for this role.
Probably not worth it, cheaper to charter it, and have it off flying commercial passengers the rest of the time.
As for MRTT, I can see this being a real cash cow for Cobham et al, at the taxpayers expense of course!
I must still be dreaming, because surely the MoD could not have made a procurement which resulted in such useful capability without wasting vast amounts of public money? 😮
“BAE, which cites an indicative price of around $2.5 million for a passenger version and around $5 million for a freighter.”

Not 80 miles. The speedo over reads and also counts going up and down hills as forward distance 🙂
BTW: I’m blond 😉

It’s also rather expensive as a programme…
If they could make the SR71 with such a complex shape have a low RCS, then you’ve got to wonder what went wrong with the F117 design 😉
