So, Japan could convert its F-35 order to C’s and order the Typhoon, or, this might explain the decision to go with the F-35
Quite unlikely, since we don’t even know if this carrier is real. More likely they would order F35Bs which will work on the medium size carrier that they will have available and which we know is real 😉
Its ever so slightly bigger.
The design measurements are not final, we cannot draw such conclusions as the one you just drew without better information. In fact, we don’t even know if it is a design, the probability is it’s actually just fan art or a very unlikely concept.
Size will be around the same as CdG but much better layout.
We don’t know the tonnage figures, but based on the figures we do have (length):
JapanCV: 285m, ? tonnes
HMS QE: 284 m, 65,600 tonnes
MN CdG: 261.5 m, 42,000 tonnes
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Queen_Elizabeth_%28R08%29
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_de_Gaulle_%28R_91%29
It’s about the same length as a CVF.
This thread should be closed. 😡
Surely a better solution would be to not be angry? 😀
The best way for the UK to win is to have the following in our song:
– Cheesy pop song with simple English lyrics
– Some token phrases in German, French and one other language
– Praise for Britain integrating further into the EU failure and helping the other money sucking b*stards member states
– Some mention about how great the other EU countries are, and how much we like them

I don’t see an issue with their clothing, it should be as smart as possible, whilst remaining practical to wear. Better to wear a stab vest than to get stabbed 🙂
I also don’t think society is “bad” today either, compared to the past generations.

Nothing. The Iran has no ballistic weapon with a CEP of < 100 feet nor the capability to penetrate the Israeli AD of that. Just an Iranian try can trigger an Israeli nuclear strike.
To stay serious all the Iranian claims have the purpose to rise some fear about the unknown and win some time by that.
So you are suggesting to us firstly that Israel will launch a nuclear weapons attack on Iran if Iran attacks Israeli nuclear weapons production facilities? That’s a pretty ridiculous idea TBH. And so we can infer that you would find an Iranian CBN attack on Israel or USA as acceptable if Iranian facilities are attacked?
As for missile CEP, this is a measure of probability. One method of increasing the probability of hitting your target is to have a more accurate missile. Another method would be to have more missiles, and as we are all aware, Iran has rather a lot of missiles. Nobody here has the certain knowledge about Iranian missile CEP, quantity, or how Israeli defences will actually perform, and so we cannot dismiss there being a probability of Iranian success at damaging or destroying the Dimona facility.
The USA is trained and equipped to deal with atomic powers up to the size of India in short notice should the need arise.
This is an opinion, not a fact.
When you have the experiences of the Israeli/jewish people of the world in the last 80 years, then you can preach disarmament of Israel. But as long as people preach ‘the complete destruction of Israel and wiping it off the map’, then you can understand the nuclear deterant
The holocaust is not something special that justifies Israel having nukes. Many populations have been subject to genocide, and that you imply the suffering of the Jews is more worthy than that of others is quite offensive IMO.
It will also be quite interesting to see what happens to Dimona after the attack on Iran.
They have selected a memorial design…
(*) Given the standards of written English I see time and again on international forums where non-English members are commenting in English, the spelling and general standard of work produced by The Guardian should make the editors hang their heads in shame and embarresment.
😀
Well its working for the Australians in respect of their Super Hornet and I would think the French would jump at the chance to shift some Rafale M even after the mega Indian deal…so I would argue that something could always be worked out Badger.
Grass is always greener and all that…
It looks like the joint development of an autoloader is probably with a view to exporting M777 to Japan. I’d be surprised if the UK ordered any, since I’m not aware of them ordering any to date.
