Nobody ever said it couldn’t have benefits, but it is a poison, and that’s why some people choose not to consum it and don’t want it in their water supply. Not that I really care, my water doesn’t contain it…

Shooting is legitimate sport, it’s in the Olympics, and it’s been a sport for a very, very long time. Same goes for archery, sword fighting, martial arts, and boxing. I can’t think of any sports or recreational activities involving nuclear materials or biological or chemical weapons. If someone has a genuine purpose for them, and is safe to handle them, then I have no objection to them having them, Universities being an excellent example.

In the UK the use of guns for hunting is more about wildlife management (Deer), or protecting farm animals/crops (Foxes etc). As I do not hunt, I cannot tell you whether it is pleasurable or not. This is separate to my initial point, which was with about pistols and semi-automatic rifles, where targets would be the main application.

It’s not just chemtrails they accuse, it’s also GM food, vaccines and anything else they are suspicious of. If the government were trying to kill people off, they wouldn’t really need to use a combination. Whilst one of more “conspiracy” type theory could be true, we don’t actually know which ones as they’re all buried in the same half truths and pseudoscience!

Here’s a good one I saw recently, it’s about a secret group of very rich people offering the UK government investment from it’s $15tn stash. Given the person involved, and that he is in the house of lords, it has some reasonable credibility to it, though it’s still a quite difficult claim to believe.

Where did all this chem trails rubbish come from? Don’t people understand what happens to water vapour at altitude?

They aren’t talking about vapour trails, they are talking about ones that stay grouped for a long period and hang in the air. Having not actually examined the trails myself it’s quite difficult to state their claims are true or false. It’s unlikely, but stranger things have happened. One thing is for sure, a bandana is useless, she’d be better off getting a proper mask. Even if chemtrails didn’t exist, in a city she’d still be better off with the mask just from all the cars, industry and normal aircraft emissions.

I often wonder just were do these nut jobs think all this chemical is actually stored or carried on an aircraft, who exactly is doing the spraying?

Government, illuminati and such are the usual ones they accuse IIRC.

Indeed the air was much cleaner when flights stopped after 9/11. All those emissions are not healthy, thats for sure. But it’s not a conspiracy either.

Fluoride in the water isn’t that much of a conspiracy, it IS a poison, it even says so on the packet. I can’t see how a water filter would remove it from the mains. A better idea would be to drink only mineral water. Also not all counties in the UK have fluorinated water.

Maybe you should try reading the article yourself, then you’d realise it is the border agency that refused his application, not the MoD. You’d also see he admitted guilt, and then upon realising there were consequences decided he wanted to change his mind. As I said, the guy seems to want us to give him exceptions to all the rules.

Oh, and he left the services because the accomodation wasn’t good enough.

Shockingly enough, people do things for enjoyment, because they make them happy! Besides target shooting is certainly more interesting than that tail number writing down thing some on here do 😉
