blackcat Naw the MMR isnt ready for LCA so how can it be
exported? some other type of antenna was exported to poland
iirc.
in aeroindia2003, some L-band T/R modules of a Aesa prototype
were displayed.
well someone seems to have read your thoughts. perhaps this
Indo-Brazil agreement is to put pressure on Unkil-Israel combo that unless that act honest and deliver on time; no $$, no food. and india would go its own way.
every country uses this negotiating tactic. UK cobbled together some JSFski to get in on the JSF scam.
but I hope they go ahead anyhow because phalcons are too
costly and no ToT either.
interior of IN do228 equipped with tamam pkg.
HAL has collaborated and with IAIβs TAMAM Division to produce the Airborne Observation System on the Do-228 platform. … equipped with the Elta EL/M 2022A radar, possessing an Airborne Multi-Mission Optronic Stabilized Payload with FLIR this has the navy excited. This aircraft also has a datalink to send data in real time to a Ground Observation Station.
the crashed a/c

the avro makes it look big, but its a lot smaller than E3/A50 rotodome.
the proposal is to use same platform as brazils own emb145
plane and substitute indian material inside the antenna and
electronics bays inside.

obviously too small for controller consoles. so link to ground stations.

the PAK-FA – will it be as stealthy as the Raptor ?
I figure only a black cat can deal with another black cat in the
night.
all types of exotic tech to long range air turbulence detectors, ultra long range IRST (useful at night), long wave airborne radars will now be needed to track Raptors.
Looks like another bustling new industry – economic stimulus package.
they ought to keep phase-by-phase modest goals rather than
a 10-yr all or nothing three-pointer shot. like modifying the CAR radar (flat passive phased array) of akash system in phase1, then moving to more complex stuff.
original plane was a aeging HS748 Avro. india had no $$ in early
90s to give them a IL76 which was asked for. or even a old
737.
probable cause was separation of rotodome due to failure of
structural components which obviously led to high fuselage top and/or tail damage. it crashed on a night training sortie with most of the development team leaders onboard.
the Phalcons are coming regardless of whether this proposal is approved or not. India cannot buy 20 Phalcons due to cost, so
a second-line platform with reduced power but perhaps 30% of
cost is necessary
— backup
— helping the IN
— covering gaps and low threat areas
— helping CAPs over vital areas(cities) to free up Phalcons
one must note indian industry has picked up a lot of expertise
over last 5 years mainly due to both drdo projects bearing fruit
and development of hw/sw by MNCs in india. offshoots of these
MNCs as smaller indian-owned cos led by former senior people
from these MNCs are present now in bangalore and capable of
doing defence related work. some have already started doing so
as Govt gains confidence in outsourcing
an example:
Promoted in 1995 by a former CMD of BEL, S. Prabhala, and two Stanford academics, A. Paulraj and Thomas Kailath, Spectrum Infotech is a contract R & D company, focussing on real time embedded solutions towards computation, control and communications.

So indias defence product capability is not just Govt now but
as in developed countries, extending out to specialized civilian
contractors.
who farted ? π h177 taking too many stale mutton kababs these days.
excellent to see everytime India farts the Paks run around like excited chickens these days.
the 340 has many models. which would be ideal ? If Jiang can use a 767, I think the newer A330 models and B777 should also be in contention.
BBJ – boeing business jet ? Sorry no can do. its too small even without the 50 additional staffers.
China for example has taken delivery of a luxury B767 for jiang zemin. they removed all the CIA bugs before using it.
boeing will use levers in US Govt to retain japanese market. like the levers they pushed to obtain F15K contract in Korea over rafale.
I dont think Boeing is going to last in commercial aviation though.
