“I have herd Friday ” You heard wrong…….but then weather/maint/number of pigeons on runway may affect the day and then you may be right, but currently not correct, what ever your source.

When we tried to be clever and say we were going to Old Warden the weather gods didn’t like our game so for now we just stay quiet…

You can also remind yourselves of how brilliant the Nimrod sounds here: http://fighter-collection.com/cft/tfc-diary/ with a short clip just uploaded.

Which list? Try this page: http://www.flyinglegends.com/aircrafts.html or the official fighter collection list, You can’t get much more official than that!

While you are arguing if you should pay to go to the display or not TFC have announced this SURPRISE Seems a bit churlish at that point to argue about not paying now doesn’t it??

Every one wanted up to date info, we listened. Can I suggest that you book mark this page as the Participation Link is synchronised to all TFC updates. HERE . We have synced all TFC website lists to one updated document to try and avoid confusion. This list should parallel the FlyingLegends.com website info within a few minutes or so. As ever weather and engineering issues may affect plans… If there is stop press news we aim to plant it on our diary and facebook asap (facebook are changing the way we link all the time , aeroplanes easy, internet a pain!).

Just to add that this is of course created by Steve Connor and hosted via Friends of TFC in this case. We made a decision to make it fully available and not just via the TFC website. (It is available elsewhere on the interweb as well). It is brilliant and brings back some fantastic memories.

A quick plug for Friends of TFC. We have a few great features planned in the run up to Flying Legends. Some of these will be FofTFC only as we need to respect and thank our Friends who support us every year. Any news we get regarding FL will be on the diary and facebook pages as soon as we get a release for it. Now go and watch Steves video again 🙂

Just a thought – It would be sensible to split posts such as this:

Now this is looking good and its only just May still 2 months to go yet and no other Duxford operators added yet

    SCFA Super Constellation.
B17 Preservation Limited B17 Flying Fortress
BBMF, Lancaster, Dakota, Hurricane and Spitfire
    DLBS Lufthansa JU52 and ME108
    AJBS JU52
The Flying Bulls, P38, B25 and F4 Corsair
Max Alpha Aviation, Spitfire MkVIII, Corsair and TF51 Mustang
    DC3 from Dakota Norway
    Yak-3M “White 100”
    RNHF Swordfish & Sea Fury
The Fighter Collection, Bearcat, Hellcat, Wildcat, Hawk 75, P40F, Corsair, Hawker Nimrod, and others from the TFC Fleet (Beech D-17S Staggerwing, Gloster Gladiator, Hawker Sea Fury T-20, Noorduyn Mk.IIb Harvard, Supermarine Spitfire, Vickers-Armstrong Spitfire, TF-51D Mustang Miss Velma)

Between officially confirmed and other sourced information on attendees. It will help keep clear what is a definite confirmation and what is not necessarily confirmed . An operators website is not the same as the horses mouth! Nothing wrong with lists just the way they are compiled 🙂

Excellent official list as you say.

We’ll be posting the definitive pilots and planes for both days on TFC site once everyone has caught up with paperwork/sleep/found their glasses (that would be me  ). We want to beef up the information and concentrate on the TFC website resources in future – this means we won’t have time to post update links on other sites – so your best bet is to subscribe to our diary page. Hope that makes sense to everyone. Just to let you know the P51C is being prepped for a container, the hangar is also being cleared to clean the floor, anyone with experience with scrubbing brushes let us know.

Finally, if you have any neat/different/cool pics of SG and/or the Bearcat let us know via TFC website.
