TFC updates
For thse who check out the TFC diary our last update was 24th February HERE: http://fighter-collection.com/cft/tfc-diary/
The software that ports updates from the diary to Bookface doesn’t readily do so with pictures so we have disabled it until we find a solution.
With the excellent coverage here on Flypast we don’t always see what we can add during the quiet months in the hangar.
As and when information is officially confirmed we will let you know as soon a s we can. Judging by the forward sales of tickets including Gold Pass you are all expecting a vintage Legends 🙂
Sort of like this then?
……. that what we see are the ludicrous interpretation of the misguided precautionary principle. We see this stupidity all around us every day with hi-vis clothing and hard hats mandatory even though the public are in the same place, EON not able to service my gas boiler because the engineer needed to be 18 inches off the ground I kid you not. Its not the HSE, its plain stupidity and ridiculousness.
All it is leading to is a population incapable of judging risk, and ultimately we are past the point of reducing risk and accidents to a point where people expect no risk or danger in anything they do and so don’t see danger as we once did. And as a result we see a new bread of idiot emerging into the world.

Peter Green sent us some of the return which we have added to our diary of the weekend HERE: http://www.fighter-collection.com/diary.php
Hats off to “Roy” ( with apologies to Led Zeppelin and Roy Harper 🙂 )

Best I have:

Early start at TFC today
Looks like a few people were up and about early this morning at TFC 😉 :
Hangar explosions two separate days, aerial footage of airfield attack then shot on subsequent Sunday. From an action pov no need for full destruction of Hangar. Possibly structurally unsound after failed session so what would you do? Failed rebuild not really cricket old boy.
All history really. Given Pinewood studios thirst for action sequences DX got off pretty lightly really.
Announced on The Fighter Collection web site and Facebook: 😀
Flying Legends 2013 – 13th and 14 July 2013

Do try and keep up at the back, that was posted on TFC pages yesterday!
I hear that 3 of the TFC fighters had tecnical problems today. I know the guys will sort it.
I left at 17:30 and most issues were pretty much sorted. Nothing to serious. Busy day for the guys in the hangar again so will tomorrow and Friday be as well.
If we get time we’ll run a diary article on this week in Fighter Log or FofTFC members pages after the rush is over – you might just be surprised – it won’t be this week though!!
These old planes really respond to some positive vibes so if you are on the airfield tomorrow or Friday give the planes (and engineers) a cheer – they will really appreciate it 🙂
