They can sell some bonds to China like US. :stupid:
This **** is getting real folks , lets rekindle the fire err… thread.
wow russia copy gripen paint!
Actually yeah, some containers of empty cans were recovered by Swedish authorities which they confirmed are used for storing Gripen paint. Swedish intelligience confirmed that the paint on the T-50 is indeed theirs. A formal protest will made official sources stated.
I totally agree with you. :highly_amused:
2. The Foxhound has a renowned radar…. therefore the Russians already have materials capable of withstanding the heat while being permeable to radar waves.
Well, I was referring to the original comment on Al-Ti alloys being used in leading edge might actually attenuate signal strength from the emitter behind the leading edge because they are conductive and this gets more pronounced at high frequencies.
Only the leading edges would really need it.
Won’t that impede the proper functioning of the Leading edge apertures?
Actually, no.The ‘Irbis- E’ represents the very pinnacle of PESA radars (and as such has exhausted the development of passive tech), but has an average power rating of only 5kW (peak power 20kW). Imagine the capabilities of the Su-35S totting a GaN AESA with an average power of 20kW and a peak power double that!!
I wonder if they have Multistage designs, would like to see a layout .
I tried ganging HEMTs for power gain with a ridiculous noise rejection design in a POC. Not much success. :stupid:
They made the Foxbat and Foxhound capable of flying at M2.5+ sustained. They haven’t forgotten how they did that!.
T-50 RBS 😉
Instead of spending resources on the new Su-39 design the Russians should be building a single engined 117S-powered tactical attack plane even if it’s not toting an afterburner. The Su-25 is Cold War era politics and they should have been evolving a national post-Cold War strategy based on sustainability. Truly I do not mind their inefficiencies. If they honestly were doing it for the greater good of the country there would be no more Su-25 spinoffs.
I think the Su34 can do the job of both the Su25 and Su24 already although it’s not a dedicated anti armor/CAS aircraft.
Well, I was just assuming, 7 cars in a row, its would be longer than 25-28 meters, unless those cars are tiny which they dont seem to be because they seem to be 4 door hatches, or short wagons/Kombis.
Honestly though, why is everyone so orally fixated on the ‘5th gen (zomg stealth) for sale’ thing? 4++(+++++) gen market is there to stay and for a good reason.
What is wrong with the Yak 130, even the Manufacturer is advertising the Yak130 can do strike and A2A besides its primary role. So your view is that Russia will offer MiG 35/29 versus J-31. I have no doubt that a decade from now the J-31 will be ready for production even though some people still dont believe China can ever design an airplane. Even though I am not a big fan of China and its whatever I dont live in denial.
Russian needs LMFS as an export asset, IMHO. It doesn’t have to be necessarily main part of Russian defense doctrine – same as MiG-21 which was never a mainstay of Soviet AF.
Indeed, what I wanted to say, if China is peddling the J31 what will Russia offer? They may not use it but there is a market for low cost LO aircrafts. Asian countries like Vietnam, Malaysia etc won’t buy MiG 35/Su35 in the next decade. For Africa they can still offer Yak 130 in strike role.
Slightly Off Topic but any news of the of the GLL Igla engine and how does/would it compare to the Scramjet of this prospective aircraft.
Hmm… nothing much to say about this at moment.

Too less pixels I would say, but looks like a Medium range Bomber/Missile Carrier.
Ahhhh the JSR ignorance drinking game it never gets boring
China + Russia great when other countries are concerned, If China only is concerned then Russia is greater. Just like Chuck Norris.
