Is that all?
I may have 3 or 4, will let you know by morning.
Hi, great photos. What’s happening in the last shot with the fire trucks? Is that some sort of celebration?
Brilliant, went on a bit of a favouriting spree on flickr! Love your photos. I’ll rehash my question – what equipment was used for your in-flights? They’re exquisite.
Beautiful photos – you captured that matt F4u especially well! And ‘Doll.
Great photos looks like it was a good day.
In the P-38 photo the guy standing on the aircraft look like he’s wondering where the guy in blue overalls has got to.
Haha, brilliant. He looks so confused!
In real life, the atc girl looked around 18/19.
WOW.
Excellent photo’s! Thank you.
Lovely, saturdated look! Poor old Doll.
Pretty much every photo is magnificent!
The ATC bird in the first photo and the 3 lasses in the last are quite nice… oh wait this was an airshow? i like the uhhh spitfire 😮
:p
I had to make up for the lack of flying shots somehow!
Brilliant set – what lens was you using? As i’ll be looking for a lens for next year (this year I was equipped with a measly 28-80mm, great for static’s, terrible for in flight, as you can imagine).
No2 of set 2 is magnificent.
I think i’m a lot younger than you and many others in this thread, and have very little idea of air museum politics, but I have been a regular visitor to Duxford since I was a young boy and feel entitled to an opinion, so i’d like to concur with yours.
Every time I’ve visited, I’ve spent a good while mooching around the Shackleton, enjoying it’s strange lines and features. I will miss it if it leaves DUX. Is there anything I can do, as a mere visitor, to keep it there? I fear not.
Raincoats and wellies will be packed just in case! 😀
I really hope the weather is good for the weekend. I’ll be there on Sunday with my girlfriend. It’s her first airshow, and I want her to enjoy it as much as possible. I’ve also bought a new camera especially.
Damn weather 🙁
Thanks alot for the links!
