What a moron, would he say this if it was his family among the lost?

****in brilliant crash at Shoreham airshow
I think I probably had a look more like terror when I did the same, I had no idea I was going flying & had never flown before.
Good luck to her for future lessons.
BTW I declined my instructors offer to try the NASA style weightless flight on my first go.
They are factory photos from Armstrong Sidderley, I don’t know if they have been published anywhere else, but they have the factory stamp on the back.
Here are the rest of the phots.

No problem here, your AV is giving a false positive.
I’ve not had time to scan the other pictures yet, late home from work all this week.
Nice article all about it on FlightGlobal.

Don’t forget we could have lost one of the best Dr Whos as Jon Pertwee was an HMS Hood crew member.

Thanks my mate was given correct info.
I have 4 more of these when I get around to scanning them.
Any idea where the photos where taken?
I’ll scan the rest when I get time.
They were, no CGI back in 1977 (+ or -).
Even today the quality of CGI varies as great deal. I’ve seen great stuff in commercials and poor stuff in films.
From what I know about film making, often there is a lag between announcement and filming.
Sometimes, it’s money, other times script or stars.
When I was in the service I was asked to be a technical advisor of a film. When the film finally came out a couple of years later, it bore little resemblance to the script I read.
Yes they were models & my mate who was a specials effects man told me they made Jabba the hut smoke by putting a student inside him with a box of cigars.
I’m currently tweaking the tail wheel fork profile for FAAM and will post an updated picture of the CAD model when I’m done.
It’s difficult to get the profile right first time when the original forging drawing no longer exists.
