A good set of images all round but the Helicopter take off with the dust around it adds a sence of urgency and the type that could have been taken in war zone with those inside the last to leave . Very good

James. I am not sure of the answer to you question. I have not seen the TFC Gladiator fly very much even before the rest of the collectiom was grounded by the CAA.

As I have posted elsewhwere, a very good set of images. I notice your Meteor ground shot is missing in this thread!

I would really have liked to have got the same type of shots of the Venom and Meteor/Venom formation as you did. You have some nice sunshine on them.

Thank you all for your nice comments.

Apparently there was a competition whereby visiting aircraft had to try to sneak in to the airfield without being spotted and ‘bounced’ by the ‘local defence’ airplane. With all that ammo perhaps the Mustang could be involved in some way next year. 🙂
