Most landing approach shots were with a 500mm lens apart from the two Daks which was with 100-400 lens.
Take off shots also with 500mm. Almost touching down shots and ground to air was one or the other.

Rob68 is alluding to the fact that there was not a big croud at the show.

There is a Coastguard one G-BCEN which was on the first episode of Britian from Above and looks like this http://www.abpic.co.uk/photo/1101866/ based at Manston and does maritime surveillance and search-and-rescue duties in the Dover Straits area .The other one which you took a picture off is based at headcorn with the parachute club :rolleyes: and dropped the Tiger parachutes off at Eastbourne 🙂

G-BECN is he one I saw at the Lydd air show a few years ago taking off to go somewhere.
