Some excellent images. The Hunter take off is a stunner. Very nice.

I am not sure but I think it did a pass on another day as well when I had just arrived. I thought at the time it was one operated by the Coastguard (having seen it a Lydd air show a couple of years ago) but I could not see any detail and I did not have my camera out.
Thanks
Martin
Nice pics. The second and third shots are my favourites.

Very nice pics. I love the head on Falcon pics.

Thanks Matt
A last lot

Hi Rob,
Thank you for the camera/lens info. Yes the aircraft do look a little further away than normal.
And thanks for your nice comments about the glider pics of Shoreham from last year.
The Cat did not land at Eastbourne either but of course they do not want any premature corrosion. The closest thing I got to it landing was a shadow on the water.
Thanks
Martin
Super pics. It is not often that black and white pics work unless done properly – I think yours are great.
I also like the swirls from the Hurri prop. Just shows that you can sometimes get better and more unusual shots in not so good weather. I have not checked many of my Sunday shots so I better take a look.
The B25 slow shutter landing is brilliant. As far as the 109 is concerned, I thought it was a great approach and landing. He sneaked in very quickly and I missed the sort of shot you got.
Thanks for posting
Cheers

you must have edited your earlier post wondering why there weren’t any comments, as I can’t find it now. Anyway it took me 2 days to get organised wth an account on this forum so I could express my own thanks that you do post such fantastic shots. Not just you of course, but I have made several visits after the big shows just to see what you have been up to.
Fantastic – keep sharing them. I am sure there are more surfing souls like me who appreciate what you guys are delivering.

Thank you for your very nice comments and welcome to the forum. The standard of photos posted by everybody on this forum seems to get better and better.

No! Just yellow jackets in the middle of the field!
Brilliant shots again Darren. I wonder, was there any flour-bombing and would you have been wearing your yellow jacket at the time?:)
Nice.
That Mitchell seems to be putting on a “spirited” display!!
It is amazing what camera angles you can get if you are in the right place. A nice shot to get,

Hi Rob
As a matter of inerest what lens were you using? Your pics are nicely well framed.
I don’t know why the Reds left sooner than expected.
Thanks
Martin
Some more from Saturday

Decided to take a look at some of the fun items

Thank you for looking. I may have a few more

Hi Rob
Aircraft ‘too far away’ for photography is common for many seaside shows as you are probably aware. There were suggestions that Bournemouth pier may have been a good place though I believe it was not part of the display datum.
I was going to go on Friday but going to Shoreham on Saturday and Sunday would have beeen too much for me so I dropped Bournemouth.
Thanks for posting.

Nice images Brian.
I like the last one the best followed by the aerobatic top pass. Thanks for posting
Also my belated congratulations for three of your nice images in the Legends show souvenir program. They are very good and clear.
Cheers

Some nice shots. The B25 and the Typhoon shots are my favourites.
