A few arrivals from Friday

Very good.
Martin
Nice pictures and a grat collectoon of classics.

Well, it was the loudest, and did set off car alarms all over the airfield, but it’s still a purring pussycat compared to a Lightning, Phantom or the mighty Vulcan.
Babies near me were gurgling with delight, rather than crying in pain. 😀
Hi Rob
I agree with the Lightning and Vulcan. Now only if he could turn the Typhoon on it’s tail like like a lightning and go ballistic. I believe in a turn a Lightning could even have given an F16 a run for its money. Shame it was never developed to its full potential.
Back to the show
I thought it was was a little slow at first due to ground movements and a few take off and landings for another show elsewhere. So what, the show and the flying was brilliant.
So my hat off as well to the organisers of the display who went to great lengths to get some nice imaginative set pieces including the formation of the two Hunters and two Tornado F3.
I thought the role demo was particularly good and it was great that the sun came out again in the nick of time after an absence of over an hour.

Nice pictures. The angle of the Gnat is nice and I best like the image of the two GR4 Tornados.
Thanks
Matin
The last image is quite good with the grass flying about but could be very food if it was rotated a bit to get the ground level. The flag on the left is a bit of a problem and awkward to crop out.
Martin
Nice pics and some interesting aircraft.
Thanks for posting
Martin
Unfortunately, I only got to Halton by noon and missed most of the De Havilland arrivals.
Some more pics. I have not covered every act, though I would prefer to. Need some sleep.

A last set of pics from Saturday and Sunday.

Nice work, Martin. It is a real shame about the light in your face at Biggin during the afternoon. Just think of all those amazing shots you could achieve with the sun to your advantage?
Cheers
TJ
Thanks Teej.
Yes, the sun is a problem later in the day.
