“How did you repair the wood damage?” – Yep as Phil says we had no choice really but to use fiberglass resin, shame but she is now stronger and waterproof so should last a good few years!
Thanks Phil / Wyvernfan,
The only major left to do know is repair / buff up the canopy anyone get any idea’s on the best way to do this?
And if anyone had any pictures of XD425 in service they would be most welcome, in fact any pictures!
Cheers
Neil
Keith Sissons – B17 ‘Sally B’
Keith is still around he was at a CAA display pilots meeting in 2009 and im sure i seen him somewhere this year but cant think where now.
Neil
Ah in that case I have no idea but I’ll ask him.
Thanks for that John, I’m stuck on the train home after a fantastic talk by Eric “wrinkle” brown at the annual symposium by the historic aircraft association but on my return I’ll upload some photos of the vampire (XD425) but feel free John to upload.
With reference to the jet ranger I’m sure one of the millom volunteers got that.
Neil
Hi Bruce,
I was thinking about it but I need space so not sure yet.
The wife would say she has no choice!:)
All,
Hope this is allowed?
