Passengers leaving stuff behind on aircraft once they’re getting off annoys me! You wouldn’t leave your house without your wallet/phone/car keys so why leave them behind on a plane!

However the “item” left behind today on the aircraft really beat them all! A family got off the aircraft and left their four year old son onboard and made their way into the terminal and halfway to immigration before realising! Cue screaming child being taken to the terminal with a member of crew!

Don’t think this was an air bridge that we would use to board but the raised platform by which the caterers and wheelchair lifts use. Narrow at the best sometimes with just a temporary ramp between the lift and the a/c door. Definitely could be improvements made to prevent a sad incident like this happening again.

Just heard on the radio a reporter say he traveled on a flight to Paris from Terminal 5 to be told by the Captain over the PA on arrival in Paris that none of the passengers on boards bags had traveled with them! Nightmare:eek:
