Extra aircraft from NCL apparently. Great news and the competition with Jet2 hopefully will lead to good fares.

Also announced 4 new Belfast routes. Gdansk Venice Barcelona and Prague! Going head to head with Jet2 on BCN and PRG! Hopefully the competition will lead to more low fares:cool:

No slots, no aircraft, no stands, no check in desks, no facilities = no Aer Lingus at Belfast IMO

MYT at BFS should be 2 A320 with one of them shared with Dublin 😎

If airlines have the same ground handling for all the airports that they operate into, I know that:
FlyBE are handled by Servisair, as are Thomsonfly, Air France, Jet2, Ryanair.
However, I know this from Servisair looking after these airlines at other UK airports, so I don’t know if it’s the same for Newcastle.

Good Luck for your interview. 🙂

Nope, some airlines are handled by different companies at different airports. Out of them airlines perhaps only Thomsonfly are handled by Servisair nationwide. Jet2 were handled by Swissport last time i visited NCL

Stick to what you know for sure LL, being enthusiastic and keen to work in the aviation industry should be a huge advantage. Also have answers for the usual “What would you do if you saw something unsafe, if a manager asked you to do something unsafe etc”

    Good luck

they have a different lay out.

Hmm i doubt that would affect it. A couple of carriers have aircraft, same type but different seating.

Yes there is a lounge being refurbished at the min although the prospect of it being for bmi is a bit far fetched. With reference to a new bridge the only new bridge likely to be seen is the old bmi one replacing the even older one at 22 at some stage. Looks like all the knocking down of old buildings is just to increase ramp space, possibly a new stand, and some temporary staff car parking for the summer.
