MYT320 will be at DUB latter half of the week, first half spent in BFS 🙂
Theres one owned by the Ulster Aviation Society. Pass on which but but its now in storage with the rest of the collection
Apparently the 320 has just left Ballykelly in the last half an hour 🙂
Very good news. Hopefully people catch on to this
Great photos liking the MYT 321 🙂
Why do they say official low fare airline for Manchester United when the airline is based half way round the world
Paid United £18 million or around that, to have their name plastered all over Old Trafford most games hence becoming Uniteds official low fare airline. United make big bucks in the Far East. 🙂
I think the guy who took this Pic at LAX could be the guy by the car

The cabin crew look a bit rough… 😀 Will they be flying “Supersonic” ? 😮
LOL 😀
Think Liam had a bit of an altercation with crew on board a Cathy Pacific flight a few years ago. Think theyre band from flying Cathy now.
But a top band 🙂 😎
LOL if only it was that simple.
I know all about delayed baggage and passengers complaining about delays in delivery of baggage. From my expirence over the last few months I cant tell you the most common occurances of delayed baggage to the baggage hall.
1)Technical Problems-Yes it does happen ground equipmet does break down and hold doors on aircraft dont alway open like they should. And if the flight is containerized the actual containers can cause trouble when being opened.
2)Customs-Every now and then customs decide they want to have a look at some luggage before the passenger has a chance to run away with it.
3)Lack of staff-Unfortunatley a common problem,If one rings in sick everybody suffers, airlines dont have extra lads liing around to help if someone rings in sick. Last week i.e. new years and christmas was the worst Ive seen. At one stage we had one team trying to get through an A320 and 757 which landed together.
So stop complaing as you have have no ideas what goes on during the delivery of baggage. I didnt know either before I was moved from check-in.
Just be patient and wait.
100% behind you on this and i can vouch that the above is very true as i am also, like Shamrock a baggage agent, for the past 18 months. This time of year is madness, all the flights are full, double the amount of bags as usual passing through as people are returning home but yet the same amount of staff as any other time of year dealing with half empty aircraft with a quarter of the hold loaded with bags.
Ramp staff work their backsides off to get the aircrafts turned around as quick as possible and bags to the reclaim area but little realise if your delayed or there are any delays at all the team meant to meet your flight and offload your bags will have moved on to their next flight which is running to scheduled. Handling companies arent paid enough money by airlines to have the staff there covering for delays. Budgets are so tight its all planned to go ok if the flights run to time.
Think of the poor ATC in the Tower for a 12 hour shift
Great report
The thing that caught my eye was
Anyway I booked this trip about 2 weeks before after I got my monthly baggage tracing roster.
You work in baggage aswell then! So do I. Dont think or paths have crossed yet on the World Tracer yet! 🙂

Although i very rarely post on the Historic Forum, I do look in everyday for the past couple of years now. Steve Young, although never talking to him was always one member whose posts brought a smile to my face. He really did give the impression of a great all round guy. I shall raise a glass to him
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!
Hmmm well i was working today between 07:00 and 19:00 so prob could of seen you had i known
