    Oops! 😮

It did remind me of the North Korean Sang-o types though! :diablo:

    It is Sang-O type,right?

The G-1 was a good multirol aircraft. It had to do to much. If it had designed with Hispano engines as it was intented to it might have been the better aircraft.

As I know, the prototype of G.1 was equiped with Hispano engines, but the engines is easy to be over-heated, so the Wasp and later the Mecury engines took its place

The first side-by-side jet trainer in service was the de Havilland Vampire T 11 trainer. First flown in 1950, over 600 were produced in both air force and naval models. The trainer remained in service with the RAF until 1966.

Thanks! But……the Vampire T.11 is developed from Vampire while what I said above are professional trainers. I mean the aircraft just designed for training. So is there sth. earlier than these ones?

    No one can help me?

I have found a picture of CL289. The canard wing is obviously different from the one in the picture above which has a fixed part.

What puzzled me is not the engine but the cockpit. It looks higher than usual–especially the back seat. Some modification version?

    That’s a terrain radar pod.

There has been some confusion as to the “Blue Sky” navigation and low-level terrain following pod developed for the JH-7 and the targeting and guidance system named “Blue Sky” we see in the J8II poster.

Either one of them is named wrong or “Blue Sky” is actually a package that includes both pods. The J-8II certainly does not need the terrain follower though.

    Oh,I see,thank you very much!

My instinct says that the first one is probably Russian, the pod behind the first one looks similar to sapsan, as used by the Su-30MK2.

Yeah! I also think so. So,what is the front one?

I have found the picture of China-made “Blue Sky” pod in Chinese web site.
It looks much different from the pod I have post.

In the ture world , it depends on the air combat system. As to the one to one game, I love Super Flanker and Super Tomcat both!
