There is a picture of the crash site on 35 Squadron page on facebook, but only shows the rear section of the plane, all the fabric is gone from the rudder. Strange.
It is the port elevator, not the rudder. The aircraft is on its side.
Nothing wrong with the Puma range, been serving many countries well for many years. The S92 has had its fair share of MGB problems and bits falling off of it.
It would be better to wait for the results of the investigation before making sweeping statements.
