New flying wires due to arrive for fitment next week. Then the paperwork and final checks…. Not too much left to do after that!
Watch this space!!
Monoplane is a Miles Magister, the biplanes are Avro Tutors. You can see flying examples of both at the Shuttleworth Trust, Old Warden.
(Sorry, just realised you are in Canada, but you could always plan a vacation!)
I would guess by the combination of pre-war ‘trainer yellow’ livery on the aeroplanes and hastily applied camouflage on the hangars, it can be dated as late 1938 or early 1939?
Those hangars appear familiar. I wonder if there is anyone else on the forum that can more positively identify them? Central Flying School at Upavon perhaps?

Another shiny 1930s biplane…. running across the approach to my home airfield too!
Another red aeroplane. With amendments proposed by a certain forumite!

Another red aeroplane…. but someone seems to have lost something…..
Well worth contacting Maidenhead Heritage Centre who are currently creating a dedicated Air Transport Auxiliary Study Centre and Exhibition.
