Watched the Lancaster and Hurricane take off from Biggin Hill around 1230, I had forgotten what a lovely sound those 4 Merlin engines make 😀
I heard them and saw them too! 🙂
My apologies for the quality. My house is behind trees and I was listening to where they were rather than being able to see them. And I had Planet Rock on… albeit at a very low volume 😀
The Lancaster belted out from between the trees. My camera was still on the LCD setting and I had to try to focus and zoom in on that. Hence me taking a picture of some trees, blue sky and a blurry bomber.
I was still having technical difficulties as it flew overhead.
I finally sorted it out apart from I didn’t get time to select the continuous capture option.
Bye bye baby.
As the sound of those Merlins died away I heard another noise to my left.

BBMF Just buzzed my house. I didn’t get any pics of the Lanc but I shot from the hip with the Spitfire and Hurricane.
I’m glad I charged the batteries in my camera.
