Havent tried CFS3 online yet but still get fed up with shooters in the no-shooting games and its not very realistic when som bozo creams past you in Zero doing Mach 3….upwards !!!!!.

unfortunately if you down load a plane from any site on the web, unless they other guys you playing against have it on their pc but not necessarily flying it, they should see you in your pride and joy…if howver, they havent got it in their ‘library’ it will default to a standard CFS2 plane.

Whether they have it or not, does not effect you flying it tho’ !

Right you ‘orrible lot…

1……geta copy of Combat Flight Sim 2
2……get an internet connection….allright, allright, some of you already have !
3……look up Microsoft Gamezone on the net.
4……get a .net password. I think (a long long time ago when i did this so it may not still hold 100 % true so please bear with me if i’m wrong…..if you try and log onto the zone it will ask you for your password and login. If you dont have one, I think you get the option to set one up…WARNING…TRYING TO GET A DECENT LOGIN AND PASSWORD CAN BE VERY HARD COS INVARIABLY, SOME ONE ELSE HAS ALLREADY THOUGHT OF WHT YOU WANT TO USE AND HAVE BEATEN YOU TO IT !!!
5…….when you have your logon and password and then try to logon to the Gamezone, it will probably tell you you dont have a certain file that is needed and do you want to download it….answer YES (the file is only a few hundred kilobytes in size and takes very little time to download even on a normal telephone internet connection.
6…….in Gamezone, go to the section marked ‘CDROM required games’ and enter then select MS Combat Flight Sim 2 and go to a game near gamed 50 called ‘Flypast’ and double click on it then click on the ‘join’ button and you are in dont forget the password will ‘forum’ in lowercase !

Now playing CFS2 with the standard stuff is reasonable but its a bladdy site more fun if you run a few non standard planes. One of the best site to download from is

Sorry I havent worked out how to do shortcuts yet !.
Go to the CFS2 section and you have something in the region of 60 pages each holding around 10 planes, of free…YES I SAID FREE !! planes for CFS2. They are zipped files and are an absolute doddle to load and run in the game.
