When I had FS2002 loaded my usual route was from RAF Brize Norton out here to RAF Akrotiri using either a RAF VC10, Tristar or more recently a C17.
I dont have it installed at the moment cos I’m into CFS2 on the web in Game Zone bigtime

And no, I’m not in the forces, I just happen to like theose planes !

Anyone who manages to complete, let alone fly, a balsa model is very much a better modeller than me. Good work guys, keep it up

Even I didnt get to sit in it !!!!!. however, we did get up front in two Herc’s, One Tristar and a guided tour of the Nimrod. Oh, and a blat round the field in one of those little yellow trolley tugs !.
He was also given a limited edition (one of only 1500) Red Arrows 2003 calendar…I’m really jealous…
This was the first time this ‘oportunity’ had happened for kids and I for one wouldnt have missed it for anything. there was another youngster, who’s dad I outbid but he wanted to go as well, so his dad had to cough up the same as me which gave quite a nice little cheque for the charity.
I’d do it again tommorrow!
