    Here Here !

And those who dont like particluar airshow acts, can poke off and go play on the fairground rides while skilled aviators are putting on a fantastic airshow (interesting to note that the whingers dont fly or perform, so they’re obviously well informed) for those who apreciate the skill and spectacle.

Also means the crowdline thins out a bit ! :diablo:

I love those baremetal fighters cause the lack of colors reduces the plane to its form and style. It looks really perfect in the air, and baremetal fits to the Stang.

    Absolutely !

Matthias, many thanks for posting the progress shots. Been watching this thread for hints and tips and am hoping you may be able to offer some advice.

What did you guys use for the polishing ?. I’ve started preliminary polishing on my ’51 Procedures Trainer Cockpit project and have been using a small angle grinder with a polishing wheel, but I think that this may be too fast and ‘harsh’. do you have any recomendations.

    Wizard !

That was one very tiring, both mentally and physically, weekend. would I do it again ?…..too righty.

I may have spent most of the day at work today, yawning my head off, but I’m still reliving some of the places we visited as I look at the piccies I took.

And to tie it in with ‘official’ end date of the BoB was fantastic.

TEC – it wasn’t you trying to do a deal on NAM’s Harvard cockpit at the weekend was it? I heard a whisper from one of my colleagues that someone was talking about making NAM an offer they couldn’t refuse!

Glad you enjoyed the event – but KF532 isn’t for sale! 😀

That would have been me. I want 532 as a stable-mate to my Mustang.:D

Nice shot dude. You should think about making a mount for the model to sit on that bracket (without damaging the bracket obviously !).

Hmmmm. …Newark have some in stock ?…wonder if I might be able to strike a bargain with them at the ‘Fest

Having spent a few minutes on Google – I found this shot which seems to be from the same viewpoint almost – and this is / was RAF Andover!

Googles a bit wrong I’m afraid. That is Old Sarum Airfield on the outskirts of Salisbury… 8 miles from my house and about 14 crow fly from Andover and whats left of the original airfield….easily confirmed by the pilots ‘bust’ on the plynth in the foreground.

Certainly looks like the setup at OS tho’.

Apparently Americans are not well liked on this forum. I’ll take my leave.

If you’re still reading this lot, check your PM’s 🙂
