Yup, gotta admit it looks good. I never tire of getting up and looking out at that every morning…sort of sets you for the day. I’ve got a few more of the area I live in out here but reckon no-body’d speak to me if I posted ’em.

    RE: Mp3……………

    I use imesh.

Very easy to use search engine, quick results and you dont have to wait too long for answers due to there being millions of people on line.

I tried Morpheous but that was no where near as good as imesh. I tried Kazaa or whatever its called and when I downloaded the program it screwed my PC BIG TIME !!!!.Eventually got the program sorted out but found that even with 2.5 million users on line, it still no where near as good as imesh.

Incidentaly, I’ve found that when using imesh for a download, instead of just downloading from one person, it’ll multi download the same song or whatever from as many people that are on line at that particular time. I’m on broadband out here and regularly download files of 3 to 5 mb from imesh in a matter of minutes due to the multi tasking ability.

Only drawback is when downloading files is that you tend to run out of disk space at an alarming rate cos you can download all those mouldy oldies that you like and everyone else laff’s at !!!!!.

However what I will is advise to try a few of these sites and you will soon find one that suites your needs.

    Have fun

    Cheers

    [updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-10-02 AT 06:54 PM (GMT)]Saab2000

    No worries mate

Trouble I find with the flightsims is that there seems to be a plane I want to download each day. I think FS2002 comes with something like 10 or 15 planes…I’ve currently got 62 and can never decide what to fly !!!

Mind you, I do have a copy FS5 (I think thats what is was called) and it runs from 1…yes one!…1.44 Mb floppy disk. The 3 CD’s that make up FS2002 have come on abit since then methinks !

    RE: profile editing

Wonder if it’ll slow down his server ?

On a different note, Adrian, do you partake of flight sims ?
reason for asking is I’ve found a JOEY (I think you might know about this one !) that’ll run on FS2002 and it dont look too bad. I havent downloaded it yet, cos, I’ve got to ‘prune’ what I’ve already got loaded and me PC’s creaking a bit when I start playing.

    RE: Books

Loads. Apart from the bound Flypast books, most of my stuff is all reference. As well as these two, I’ve got another 3 bookcases all full of aviation related stuff and am getting in dire need of a mass sort out. Anybody recommend a good bookshop ?

    Cheers
