We all know who the bad guys are, and we all know who will win in this melee.
God Speed Israel.
THANKS MAN!!!
The Solution of the problem between Hamas and Israel or Hizbollah and Israel lies in the relationship with Iran. Unless Iran and Israel engage in dialogue these things won’t be and can’t be solved.
Iranians are under Hardliners now, when the moderates take power there, Israel will be under hardliners like Netanyahu.
Can you remind me when was the last time that Netanyahu has threatened to destroy another country!
Yes, he may be a hardliner. Israel needs this to survive in the middle east jungle. But I just love it when you find him comparable to the Iranian madman who threatens Israel day and night with extermination, and works hard to get nuclear weapons for his country, which is not under any danger.
Tell me: Iran has no border with Israel, why does it threaten it all the time?

[QUOTE=obligatory;1340637]If i’m not mistaken, it was the UN, and their fore-runner League of Nations, that created Israel in the first place, in cooperation with England, the rightful colonialist.
So UN don’t appear anti-semitic & anti-Israel to me at least.
Man, are you serious?? You mention a moment in history, when the world was so ashamed for letting 6 million Jews be murdered that it agreed to let them have one tiny state, and conclude that the UN is not anti semitic and not anti Israeli??
Where have you been since 1967? asleep?
There have been more anti Israeli resolutions than against any other country! The US fought in Vietnam, Russia invaded Checoslovakia and Afganistan, China is in Tibet, Iraq was in Kuwait, the Balkan wars, the genocides in Ruwanda and Darfur and many other atrocities, and more than a million people have died in those 4 bloody decades. But what is the UN always busy about? Israel!
And all this time no one has ever demanded that the Arabs, with their vast teritories and trillions of oil dollars (from your pockets!), take care of heir own!! Not one resolution like this, but many which demand that Israel solve it within its tiny area.
Now tell me what is the “objective” attitude of the U.N. towards Israel
Now tell me how can Israel respect this international joke, which has been founded with so many hopes after WW2, but has long ago become a place where the most ruthless regimes can attack others and gain the support of the stupid western public, which even after September 11 refuses to open its eyes.

Hi Alan
Thanks for the pics.
A correction for the link – should end with “.de” , not”-de”

Hi Angelremington
That is an interesting installation – right on the nose of the aircraft. Haven’t seen anything like it before. Can you tell who is the producer of the magazines?
Thias is a very nice machined part, complicated but makes the installation simple.
Thanks a lot Sferrin!
The best pictures of the J-10 I have ever seen
TVC in a turn
I have not read all the discussions on the subject, but I think you are overcomplicating the issue.
In my opinion TVC is NOt very useful in a turn for a very simple reason – it’s value is too small !!
Aerodinamically a fighter can generate about 9 G’s, which means a normal force 9 times its weight.
A jet engine gives something more than 1:1 thrust to weight, let’s say 1.5 times the weight of the aircraft. This is not a large contribution, and it comes at the price of loosing speed – fast – and with it aerodynamic lift=turning force.
Maybe it is good for fast initiation of a turn, but I am not sure of that either.
J10 canopy
Does anyone have a good picture of the canopy, either single or two seater, from the front, showing the hooks etc?
Thanks

Hi Angleremington,
Thanks for your comments.
Why not open a new “chaff & flares” thread and post your pictures there? I will be very interested to see them, and so will others.
Kbely museum
The right hand pic from Kbely reminds me how I have tried to get there this summer in Prague, but due to a misunderstanding of the bus schedule on Saturday I failed to get there. Maybe next time
Serial numbers
I don’t think I have the numbers of the modified aircraft. You can see some of them in the pictures posted. If I ever find those numbers I will post them.
And again- if anypne has pictures of more Ethiopian modified MIGs – I would love to see them.
