RE: Canberra TT18 G-BURM leaving on…
Jet Heritage folded in August 1998, some of the aircraft that they operated are still at Hurn under the De-Havilland theme, whilst others are in open storage on the other side of the airfield.

RE: Canberra TT18 G-BURM leaving on…
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-05-02 AT 09:24 AM (GMT)]De-Havilland Aviation are based there with their Sea Vixen, Vampires and Venom. There are a few other warbirds based, including the former Jet Heritage Meteor and Vampire team, a couple of Hunters and Gnats plus some other stuff. All this is viewable through the excellent Bournemouth Aviation Museum.
On the other side of the airport is the Source Classic Jet Flight with their fleet of about 8-12 Vampire/Venoms. Some are parked outside the hangar which is viewable from the Museum.

RE: Duxford, May 5th
From what I read of other’s point of views the Breitling Fighters were given top marks, the others being the Wasp/Scout/Puma(?) Falklands formation.
Didn’t go so am not sure what else was there!

RE: RNHF Firefly
Based on what Alexis Lambert has posted on another forum it seems that it’s paperwork clearance could be a serious factor .
So with this in mind it seems very doubtful that it will make it.

RE: DC-3/C-47
My first flight in an aircraft was in a Air Atlantique Dak at a Yeovilton airshow in the late 80’s. A very very nice aeroplane.

RE: History of air warfare – a 4 year olds view
What else in the form of warbirds are going to be there do you know?
I hear that the RNHF will be making its airshow return and the Breitling Fighters may debut, but is there anything else?

RE: P-51D
Its an ex-Duxford machine too in its USAF days, so in effect it’s coming home 🙂
Will they respray it into these markings I wonder?

RE: Swordfish
I think the RAF Museum have a Stringbag IV in storage either at Cosford or Wyton.
