Good stuff. I thought Futura were grounded?
Taken on the 15, but since the thread has touched on the subject, here it is.

2 Stragglers depart LPL 8 Sep 2008

I was always under the impression that it wasn’t the use of a scanner that was illegal, but what you did with the information.
Give the man a cigar!
Oooops…. dropped it. And it was the last one, too.
Ah well. 😀
Good job I gave up when I did. I’ll take alcohol though 😉
Vickers Commercial?
I was watching the SBS that evening in Manchester. The holding point to the south of MAN is called Dayne, and normally A/C leave the hold and fly north east to join the localizer from the south. I noticed at least 2 A/C fly north over the field at about FL60, then turn right to join the localizer from the north. This was due to ‘weather’. Thought my SBS was playing up, but listening to ATC confirmed the flight paths. Better than Corrie!
From http://www.ringwayreports.com we had 3 flights that day, Sat 9
BGJ ISB-MAN
BHW LHE-MAN
BGK ISB-MAN-JFK
At the end of May this year, a US Air 330 suffered a hydraulic leak and had to b repaired on the taxiway.
Cloudwarrior..why the bold font in all your posts??
Just a personal preference for that font.
Hi Conor. Have you tried http://www.openatc.com
You need google earth on your pc. This site is dependant on SBS-1 users connecting their boxes to the site. Sometimes you wont see anything, sometimes the skies are full. Sometimes you will see traffic over Europe. Heres a screenshot taken 31 July 2008, time as per clock.

Due 0430 local time. ETD from MAN 0630. Ive no idea whys its in. It was rumoured to come on Tuesday, but didn’t.
Nice
Sorry Stu, should have read it better. The DC10s were used on the original freight flights, and then they changed them to 737s. Dont know why.
