Thanks Culpano, they are taken from crash gate 3, which is at the end of a road/track in the village of Castle Donington. Take the road from the AeroPark into the village and turn right at the Nags Head pub. These shots were taken early evening as the sun has swung around. The aircraft have landed on 27 and have taken the fast turn off, except for the Germania which is taxying out.

I think the Germania departed from the paint shop. It wasnt parked up at the terminal, and I didnt see it when I did a drive round. It left using its reg as a callsign, guess I timed it just right.

Some nice contrail captures.
Maikel, you are correct in the 2 Emirates movements a day. The 380 does the midday flight and the evening flight is a 777. There is a 3rd flight starting this year, the month escapes me, but it will be a morning flight using 330s. The Qatar and Etihad do a daily flight, but the times differs depending on the day. Matt, if you drive from the Romper towards the tunnels, take the right turn signposted to Ashley. After about 100 yards there is a turn off on the left, (1 on the photo) with a short track leading to a gate. I nipped over the fence and walked into the next field (2 on the photo). I suspect I was tresspassing :diablo:
