I agree with Pauls comments, anyway, I see no difference in the quality of yours and my photos.

Hi Dave, I can never get your link to work 😡
Any idea of the operator for these new routes?

    Longshot
I know what you mean. Take the ANZ 747. No way is it centred, but to get the whole image in the frame, the fuselage has to be positioned on the left of the photo. Ive had similar photos rejected from sites because its not centred. But if you centre it you have to crop off the wing. and then I’ll get a rejection for bad crop! You can’t win.

Thankyou. From a photography point of view the curtailed visit was a bit of a blow. Good job I crunch numbers :p

Indeed. The daily EK017 is operated by the A380. 😀

Nice stuff, Lutons a great place for photography, and bizjets of course. I like the ‘level’ easyJet, but I’d also like to see it straight. I’m sure it made for an interesting photo.

Sounds fairly straight forward to me. The modification ensures that the aircraft is level when parked.

Nice to get a story behind the picture, I didnt see any activity around the A/C while I was there, guess you guys were in the bar sampling some good old English beer. 😉
I dont have the original photo on my pc, so if you want a copy Ive no objection to you downloading this one.

I noted the explanation that cowboys spend 8 hours a day in the saddle and still feel comfortable!!
Who are they trying to kid?

Thanks. No ladders needed Stu, just sturdy footwear.
Turn off Styal Rd at point 4 (long stay car park), bear right on to the dirt track at point 3, and you can park at point 2 as long as you keep clear of the crash gate and dont inpede the turning circle of the lorries. The badly drawn cross marks the photo point of the A380.
Today the police were out in force, but were happy enough to let us park. Ive parked further back along the track before today but always kept the road clear. You will get lorries trundling down as its an access road to the aggregate storage.
