It must be coming up soon as the RAFM at Hendon are having the outline of a DO-17 painted in the bomber command hall?? would have been better with the other Luftwaffe treasures in the battle of Britain hall but maybe they will change their minds when it gets there in 10 years time.

The outline is the work of Red Loop Design (Middlesex University) and features on their website:

There is a Windsock Datafile for the DH6, which would be useful to have, and the rigging notes will also be available.
I would say this is a first, for April – but hasn’t your Pirat already returned to flight?
I’m not sure if detailed drawings are available for the DH6 – The attached images are all I have. It might be an idea to pick a different airframe for which drawings are easily obtained? Good luck!
I will get the cover to you, I’m glad it can be used.

I’ve got a fairly complete set of drawings for the Nieuport 23 / 24 / 27 “Vee Strut” series, I acquired them from another forum member some years ago.
It would be fascinating if, in a 1000 years someone recovers the Lunar Landers from the Moon. I wouldn’t be surprised if settlers turn one into a monument ON the moon!
I think they are still in the Desert near Roswell.
It didn’t belong to the FAA museum, they didn’t “Get rid” of it.
Please can anyone confirm if this door is from a Shackleton, and if so, is it any use to the project? It’s free and I can deliver.

It would be good to see colour photos of these gliders whilst in service.
I think that the airworthy DH 4 is based on an original example:

I met the restorer, Glen Peck, and the owner Al Stix, during the restoration in St Louis. I could not have been made more welcome.

The Meteor photo in the first post is something special. I don’t know why, it just seems to capture the momentum in a single frame.
I think that the Swordfish, now at Duxford, was on display at the Lambeth with it’s wings folded. Does anyone have photos showing this?
Thanks,
Robert M.
