Bex – do you think having Gerry Adams having his voice dubbed had any effect on countering terrorism. I watched it as a young person and thought it totally absurd! As for Liberals and Political Correctness contributing to Islamic terrorism – I think the main factor in all this was invading a soverign country
with excuses for doing it that vaporise as the years go by.
Terrorism isn’t something new and it’s something that we as a nation has supported in various parts of the world . An unfortunate fact of life is that
terrorism is easily exported and we are now feeling the effects.

My comments about Political Correctness etc did no way directly state a contribution to Islamic Terrorism, I said that it had caused us to be come a soft target. Besides, invading Iraq / Afghanistan wasnt a catalyst for Islamic Extremists, an excuse yes, but, check the history and you will see they have been blowing things up for years coz they cant get their own way, you know, the whole planet praising Allah. Also these nutters dont give a toss who they kill, think of 9/11 & 7/7 see how many Muslims or Non Christians were killed? Quite a few you will find.

My cousin who is Muslim (I am not) and lives in the USA is appalled that her religion is being used as an excuse for war. Im not the most religious person on the planet but, Im pretty sure I read somewhere that no matter what religion you believe in, that killing was frowned upon? As far as Im concerned thanks to those who abuse Religion, its nothing but a good way to start a fight and hide behind it, stuff em, Ban Religion, but thats my view, but I dont feel the need to run around killing people to get my views noticed.

On a final note, I find it digusting that convicted terrorists can become MP’s, and why after all the years of terror from the IRA has terrorism become such a big deal in the UK, lets face it, its nowt new is it.

I went to the arrivals enclosure at Waddington on Thursday & Friday.

My car was not searched.

I was parked right in front of the low metal barriers – two of which were ‘apart’ – ie not connected together.

Had I been a terrorist, I could have easily parted the barriers (even if they had been connected), driven at high speed across the runway to the dispersal area and either fired off a few RPG rounds, or grenades, or even a homemade Molotov cocktail into the closely-packed aircraft before being stopped.

OK, the scenario is a bit fanciful, but not beyond the bounds of possibility.

Had I looked of middle-eastern descent, or even Indian, I doubt if I would have been subject to any more rigorous security than I was.

I’m not criticising or blaming anyone, just pointing out that ‘wouldn’t stand a chance’ is a bit of an exageration.

A STUPID journo on sky news first asked WHYHAS THE SECURITY LEVEL BEEN UPGRADED ( I did not believe what I was hearing) and then stated that CAR BOMBS WERE A THING OF MODERN TERRORISM ( Has he never heard of ULSTER) ????.

One would have thought that lessons learnt from the war with the IRA would give us the best anti terrorism teams in the world, but those lessons seem to have been ignored, and Im begining to wonder by idiots like SPit mentioned above, and more importantly, freedom of the Press also gives the bad guys ideas on what to go for next, and publicity. FOr years Gerry Adams was banned from having his voice broadcast, its about time restrictions like this came back.

As for race, well thats an even bigger joke, Political COrrectness & Loony Liberals have caused this country to be a soft target. Hence, these murderers are running around freely, living off our taxes having a whale of a time.

Hmm I wonder how long it will be before certain elements in this country start blitzing Mosques.
