If it helps Propstrike, we’ve just had our Moggy put to sleep as it was long term sick and its insides were basically FUBAR, now, on the one hand we had the vet saying to keep it alive any longer is equal to animal cruelty ( fair enuff) so it needed to be put down……. on the other hand, thanks to the carefully worded threat above (it was a threat) it now just gained the vet £110 for about 1 minutes work and sending it off to be cremated.

In your case, it was nice of the driver to had in said Moggy, but, bit unfair to leave u with a rather large bill to pay off.

Oh, and is there really going to be any ‘major sponsor’ prepared to pay ?millions of pounds to be associated with an aircraft whose one and only purpose was to deliver weapons of mass destruction?????!!!

Well Vulcans were’nt a single purpose tool, just ask the Argentinians, finally used in anger just before retirement. And if u do a bit of digging, I think u will find that the Vulcans had to be modified to fit the nuclear devices of the day and dont forget, basically the last 20 odd years of their lives the RN had the Nuclear deterant. Im pretty sure theres more informed forumites that can point u in the right direction to find info on VUlcans other than saying “stick it in Google”. Hope this helps. 😀

PS: Flpflop, nearly there mate, all the best to you & your colleagues.

Right now hindsight is a wonderful, oh I wish my tribunal wasnt 12 months ago, someones gonna have a great day thats for sure. Sheesh, Id give my right arm just to sit next to Martin Withers in static Vulcan, let alone with her engines running 😀

    John,

The “Root” file is the main FS2004 folder on your hard drive, and I dont think it will interfer with your FSX install as the file that is replaced is an FS2004 specific file.

What I do need to know is this: Is your FLight Sim install on your C: drive (IE main or WIndows Hard Drive) or like me, do u have it on its own hard drive.

Looks like youve all been working very hard, keep up the good work all of you.

Re: The F86, is there no way you can paint the white line carefully onto the present paint job?

Option 2 of course, is take plenty of photos, put together a story board of the aircraft history including this paint job and who when & why the work was done then repaint the nose correctly now you have the correct information.
