I’m going on Sunday…what time do you think I should get into the show to get a decent spot? Last major airshow I went to was Farnborough and it was dire…couldn’t get anywhere near the front of the crowd so all my photos had heads obscuring everything
I’m thinking of driving down tomorrow, getting digs and then getting to Duxford nice and early Sunday. I’m guessing all the local B&Bs will be booked…but are there any campsites where I can stay nearby in my tent?
IIRC, my mate got the seat from Hanninfield metals but the bloke there didn’t know what it was. Does that help…i.e has that place only had a few certain types through?
Well, thanks folks…in the end I visited Battle Abbey and Pevensey castle…both of which were cool. Was tempted to call in on Duxford on my way back up to Leeds but the England match beckoned!
