What’s even more frustrating is that the item in this case appears to have been further artificially weathered. It was part of a larger peice I had so has obviously been butchered in order to make more profit. No doubt the rest of it will appear over many listings in the coming weeks.

Another fabrication. This came from my collection and not from a London collection as described.

This seller has been discussed here before but beware. This certainly didn’t come from either a Heinkel Seaplane or was it found in Abroath. This is one of a few items I’ve seen this seller selling recently that once belonged to me.
They originally came from Germany with no history. They all came from the same site but their listings have attributed the parts to many different aircraft and crash sites.
Highly amusing looking on eBay today is the amount of Vulcan bomber instruments being listed
This has gone unsold for quite sometime but now has a 5k asking price!

Hi all,
I’m still desperately looking for a tyre Typhoon/Tempest 12inch tyre if anybody has one available? Anything considered.
Many thanks,
Darren
Looks a bit like 3d40 hub???
It certainly did make good money at £2k!!!!
Many thanks Anon; and I hadn’t even considered the Beaver.
I suppose with these being trainers the likelyhood of these kind of accidents is more exaggerated too.
Yes, even look too big for the b-36.
Tread pattern looks the same as a B-17 tyre section I have.
Is that from a Anson?

Anybody need Meteor tail parts?
Hi all,
Anybody have a tyre for sale for my Tempest main wheel project 12 x 6.5 rim. Anything condition considered as it will be for display only.
Many thanks,
Darren
Hi all,
does anybody know where I can source either NOS or repro instrument fixing screws? They seem to be of the flat mushroom head variant? I see ther is a big market in repro panels so am guessing they should be fairly easy to get hold of.
I’m trying to keep these panels as original as possible so will be fitting the smaller section with a boost gauge, and the filling in all the gaps on the larger section. I may go down as far as mounting the oil temp and pressure gauges on the larger section of I can, depending on how I mount the panel for display.
The correctly dated gauges don’t seem too much of a problem getting hold of, but the ident lamp switch will be quite difficult!
Thank Mike, I’ll post some pics when I get started.
