Might I enquire what would happen if a group of American citizens took up their rights under the second amendment, and formed a militia to protect their rights?

How far would they be allowed to go?

An organized miliitia did go head to head over land rights some months back.
    Guns pointing at guns.

No shots were fired, fortunately for the militia, as the person they were defending proved to be only telling half-truths over what went on. I.e. they would have been protecting the rights of a scam when the full story finally came out.
It came about because the feds decided to use hammer where a thumb-tack was more than enough.

Isn’t the place supposed to be a democracy? If the bulk wanted something done about it legislation could go through tomorrow.

    Moggy

    We are a Democratic Republic.

So what is the REAL question?. Congress ratified the 2nd, Congress can make subtle amendments !!.

    Jim

    Lincoln .7

Congress can attempt to modify but the general populace has the final say-so.
I will be able to get a hold of what we spoke of in your PM soon.

Why not approve arming of the teachers?

Then, they will be the first target and maybe their death will save one child’s life?

    Moggy

Hmm, so they are going to know which teachers are armed and go through the school to get every one of them first, with of course the teachers would have to be deaf to not have their arms at the read upon hearing a shot….

Your statement is the same lame reasoning some schools have used as a reason to not arm their teachers or guards.
Apparently they want to just let the kids die rather than get blamed for the sky-is-falling scenario they see, all the wrong people getting killed and not the criminal, by arming anyone to protect others.

Anyone who would be armed, as school employee, guards or teachers would have to through a course, which is similar to what police take before they would be allowed that task.
Still all those “gun free zone” signs one sees should be enough as they make criminals feel very safe.

One good thing to come of this is most network news sites, give the name of the shooter only rarely and do not list. at all, what type of guns were used.
It seems that some shooters were using the news to become known to historical figures and that, that fact, exists seems to have caused news sources some grief.
One reporter had to insert, as a rumor, that some of the weapons were reported to be military capable.
I think that means they go bang.

And another mass execution. Why am I so wrong?

Because the school had meetings on whether or not to arm the unarmed guard and decided against arming him.

Sadly the school board who deserves any misery that comes its way is not what suffered.

I’m very glad Russia gets involved.

It will prevent Israel, the US & their puppets to bomb indiscriminately ISIS & the Syrian regime. You’ve got to be naive (scratch naive, dumb) to believe that they are only bombing ISIS.

    Nic

You have to be moronically ignorant of the news in the U.S. if you think their bombing of ISIS amounts to more than political bs much less militarily amounting to much.

The 457 Moggs, I think you will find is a 50Cal, it’s known as “The wrist breaker” Saw it on “American Guns” (Where else?) It went through 5 blocks of solid concrete !!
    Jim.
    Lincoln .7

Was that a show about big-bore handguns?

I have heard of that episode but do not get that channel.

Beyond that, I have never heard of a .457 except maybe as a wildcat round.

The shooting of the TV reporter pretty much disapppeared from U.S. TV quickly as the shooter was a disgruntled liberal homosexual Democrat plus television does not care about ruining others lives but if it is one of their own they get special treatment rather than 24/7 hype.

As attack measure improve so have counter-measures.

Until counter-measures and attack measures have been tested in combat this is all fanboy talk.

    Ricki and the Flash
Actually a very good movie and it is interesting to watch Meryl Streep sing and play guitar as leader of a cover band.
