If one is truly concerned and serious, not playing guessing games, about self-defense, having a hidden firearm in every room is the only intelligent thing to do.
All the happy thoughts of “Oh they would never do this, that or the other thing” concerning the goblins that break in are basic moronic 101.
There are intruders that are clueless and pick by chance but there are a goodly number that steak out a victim.
Waiting till one is in the shower, when the running water noise covers break-in noises, is prime time.

F-22 Stated Supercruise speed is Mach 1.72.
Not that anyone is really going to give accurate info what does this do to full consumption?
F-106 pilots I have talked to, said the Six could go over Mach 1 without the burner but it did not help fuel mileage at all.
Many, many years ago, back when outhouses were not uncommon in rural areas, one of my mom’s cousin used one after dark, sat down on a scorpion.
She said there is no language describe how nasty that is.

I should add the 390th FS that was over at Mountain Home AFB.
They were the last regular Air Force F-15C squadron in the contiguous 48 States.

5th FIS Spitten Kittens. They had the Six from the beginning to end of its career.

87th FIS Red Bulls Started in my home State as the 11th FIS Red Bulls.

An atheist has the same capacity to deicide what morality is as someone who believes in God.
No many religions have morals because failure to live up to the morals has just reward for eternity.
If there is no action/reaction, there is no reason not to do anything.
If there is no after life, then only a fool does not get what ever thrills the one wants out of life.
Dead is dead, so do not worry about “after wards” go for it. The man with the biggest gun makes the rules. If one does not like the rules, eliminate the rules makers and make new ones.
That is the difference between religions that believe in after life and persons who think everything is the result of an accident where ones comes out of nothing and returns to nothing.
Makes me wonder why atheists are such pansies that then drop their pants and squat for powers that be.
Get some balls and change the world, absolutely nothing to lose as life is only as good as one lives it
Better short and glorious than long boring years of having to drop one’s pants and squat when ever told to, as the atheists do now.
Hell, Satanists have more balls but then that is just another religion.
5 year old’s don’t MAKE kinder eggs either.
You know the point I was making, you just find it unpalatable. But just in case you didn’t, here it is again. This is not just two Nations divided by a common language. It’s more significant than that. What beggars belief to most people in the UK is the fact that a powerful and largely well educated Nation bans the sale of Kinder Eggs because they are dangerous whilst allowing all and sundry to buy firearms with only the most cursory of checks. It actually brings up an interesting point doesn’t it.
The pro gun lobby always quote “guns don’t kill people, people do.” Ok, let’s accept that at face value. If the US Government cannot bring itself to introduce gun control, how about gun-owner control? Make more stringent checks on anyone wanting to legally own a firearm. A psychiatric evaluation plus checjks on criminal records etc. Then repeat them every two years or so. If it prevents just one school, college or mall shooting then surely it has to be worthy of consideration?

Because the Second Amendment and doctor/patient confidentiality would make any such gov. control attempt DOA, both for the bill and the politicians career.
Things have changed in the U.S. candied liquors have ALWAYS been illegal for minors in the U.S.
In days past candied liquors getting into the hands of minors was a laughing matter, as often the youth spent the night hugging the china.
When I was in tenth grade, one of my friends had visited Germany to see his relatives. He brought a box chocolate liquored candy to German class we were both in. It was passed around the class.
Laws have not changed but if anyone did that nowadays and some one reported it; the teacher would be fired and arrested; the bringer of the chocolates would end up in court as would the parents of of the child who brought the chocolates for breaking laws concerning under-age drinking.
It would be treated as seriously as some one selling drugs in school.
Remember in grade schools children have been kicked out for forming a pop tart in the shape of a gun; having items on a charm bracelet that were in the shape of a gun; wearing t-shirts that promoted firearms and for pointing a pencil and making a gun sound.
I believe people should be sent to see head shrinks, but it is about paranoid educators fear of firearms or for their having an obscene need for power over childrens actions; nothing to do with actual guns.

I understand, that is the Law in the States, that every gun carried by Airlines, MUST be able to be seen via Xray or metal detectors, prior to boarding. The newly developed handgun, 3D generated, cannot, as I understand.
The new weapon, a handgun, very well appropriately called the “Liberator”, and which anyone can download the plans to make one for FREE, is going to throw the Airlines into a wobbly. The only problem I see, is that the ammunition may set the Checking machines off as it passes through the checkhout.
I wonder if it would be possible to make the casings, and the projectile out of a similar material?.
Should they be banned before it may go into full production, or will it be yet another infringement of the 2nd?.and TSHTF yet again.Jim.

Plastic bullets exist, but they are for shock effect, not penetration.
Caseless ammo has been dead on arrival ever time tried.
The weapon could be put on an NFA list, same as machine guns and silencers, as it has zero sporting value.
I do not think a court challenge to remove it would be pressed as there would be no value to any one spending the money to do it.

Sorry Rick, not following you. Republic or not, does the US have a democratically elected President? One man and one vote and all that?
