    Indeed Thunderchief F-105 has shoot down one Mig-17 ( or 2 ? ).

    It had 670 kg/m2 wingloading F-105.

OK sunshine, are you stupid or just ignorant.

The Thud shot down 31 N. Viet Migs, most with the cannon.

I would love to see your match-stick fighter go against a Thud. If the Thud ran out of ammo shooting at it, it could just fly right straight through it and still make it home.

    F-105 Wing loading: 93 lb/ft² (452 kg/m²)

    Mig 17 Wing loading: 237 kg/m² (48 lb/ft²)

I do not know why I put the decimals in originally but they should not be there.

There is no way on earth that F-22 gets it on sights…with fly by wire and nonstable platform…T-38 might be harder to beat or Mig-21 for GM-1 kinda system because the rocket power wears out quickly and basic power might just keep it at Mach 1.2 on supercruise.

    Really now.

Hmm, the F-105 with a wing loading over 90 shot down Mig-17s with a wing loading of less than 50, me thinks you had better deal with reality.

The Kansas bill is a good laugh! It seems they cannot manage to draft a bill without leaving gaping holes in it and any challenge in the courts would drive a coach and horses through it !

Actually it was drafted to go to court with.
There are a number of items that the Feds. do now that the legal head on television say IF anyone EVER mounts a serious challenge, could be of real concern.
Partly because depending on how the Supreme Court is tilted, it may actually go strictly by the Constitution or it could simply get around having to declare an illegal law, illegal, by redefining what the law is, as they did with the Obama Care Bill by calling it a tax, and taxing is legal.

Just tell me Rick, since when did anyone get killed by a Postage Stamp??. or indeed, Vice, or a 13mm Spanner?. Just ONE example will suffice!!.
    Jim.
    Lincoln .7

What does anyone being killed or not killed have to do with it?
Many people own more than one car whereas by your analogy then anything that has ever killed anyone, no one should be allowed to own more than one or even that number.

Oh yes there are knife collectors, sword collectors also.

I know to am acquainted with a number of people that have firearms in the dozens, and never shoot many of them.
Some of the revolvers they have is double digits are capable of shooting threw quarter inch plate steel at twenty five yard.
Put a lathe turned solid bullet in it an it will pass threw even thicker steel at the same distance.

It has nothing to do with need, although you seem to have a bit of a fetish about only possessing something if it is needed.
You could really stress some people out, if by your need quota, some new houses only had one toilet as that is all a house really needs.

Okay..small aeroplane is not your thing RPR ( RAPTOR ! ) right…plane that cannot stand rain nor .22 calibre guns and looses combat to t-38…and costs 360 million usd a piece right that is the only real aeroplane…cause it also flies ( but stays 95% of the time in maintenance ) !

If four 20mm shells, either solid or explosive his the middle of an F-22 or the middle of your aircraft which would suffer the most serious damage?

Yours at the very best would be another Me 163 point defense interceptor, with slightly more range but not able to sustain any more damage, nor engage for more than a few minutes, unless you totally redesign the aircraft to hold more fuel.
Carbon Fibre does NOTHING to stop bullets, but as the Pond Racer found out, does crack like an egg-shell on impact.

No it is 100% mathematics..selected engine ( PW535F-E ) on GM-1 burns 107 times less fuel on full thrust than for instance J-20 does on AB.

Other inventions in lay out help to reduce drag ( by size reduction too ). This has much better or similar power to weight ratio than Mig-25 or SR-71 .

Same in comparison with the VT-JET to ARES…smaller in right places to have better power to weight ratio.

If GM-1 goes into supercruise the figure is much better. I cannot predict it yet..the inlet and out design is not ready 100%.

No it is just wishful thinking, minus reality.

Bigger kite 3800 lbs to 800 miles.

Smaller kite 1500 lbs to 500 miles.

It can not carry enough fuel, you simply make up you own laws of physic apparently.

You have no idea how many times I have heard this phrase since 2007 when I started to introduce smaller and tighter packed planes to save fuel ( mostly ).

A-4 was designed aerlier…and guess what still operational..recently went a MLU program through.

The A-4 could carry 9,900 lb. payload over 500 miles.

How much can yours carry and how far?

Have they considered giving it an improved wing for lower loading?

The Russians had considered this with the Su-15.

BS…this is to have 1 cm thick kevlar/carbon fuselage + 5 mm steeltube for the pilot. Unlike F-22 Raptor which cannot fly low in combat zone due to small arms fire ….this ( these ) can !

    Oh lordy, whole 5mm!

I have a hand gun that can punch threw 1//4 inch plate steel.
A little .50 cal. will turn your plane into Swiss Cheese.

What is it going up against .22 rimfires?
