None here, and it’s been a balmy one degree above freezing all day.
Is there any snow in the west midlands ? I’m going up there on Wednesday and I need to know whether to take my pink desert boots with the thermal insoles.

Nothing in the Walsall/Wolverhampton area at the moment.

Update – it’s now snowing with a good covering on the ground.

    The Beatles

I’m jealous. Although I have seen one of them, and not many others:

Brindsley Schwartz (not sure if that’s spelt correctly) – once, who were the warm up for
Paul McCartney (and Wings) – three times
    Suzi Quatro – three times
other RAK artists on the RAK Roadshow, including said Suzi Q, Mud, Cozy Powell, can’t remember who else was there, it was almost 40 years ago.

G-ATBG might well have been, but my first thought was G-ETME, currently sporting that smart Battle of Britain Bf109E scheme.

You’re probably right, I was relying on my memory (haven’t got current access to my photo records) which has been known to let me down – more often than I’d like.

    It’s Stanley time!!! 😀

A nice laid-back groove. The bass lead from 5:03 onwards (and right at the end) is quite sublime, by the way. 🙂

And here was I, thinking you meant this Stanley:

Don’t know how authentic it was, but wasn’t G-ATBG dressed in desert camo for a while some years ago.

Levsha, you’re obviously not a Bond fan.

Hampden98, that would be the white Hiller that Pussy flew into Fort Knox, marked up in the film as N-ASAZ (which I understand didn’t sell). The Jag from Die Another day was also sold.

I’ve just been told that it didn’t sell at the auction, although my spy didn’t know the reason, I have to assume that it didn’t reach its reserve.
