When can we see another challenge…?
I really enjoy this thread π
My first flight was on a Boeing 727, followed shortly by a memorable 3 hour flight on a Dakota…;)

This is the type of technology which wont be transfered during any TOT with any governments.
We dont know yet, but it will be significant given the amount India is investing. It will probably be done the same way the MKI program was conducted, as it offers a successful template to follow.
It will also be interesting to see what kind of alterations the original project will have to acomodate India’s requirements: but that only in many years in the future, when someone will be able to write a book about it…
Be-200 operated in Portugal and it would be great to see them here often; see them in service in PoAF would be amazing; perhaps in the future…

What kind of technology transfer is known in the PAK-FA’s india segment?
[QUOTE=rlucas;1481132]I think it is the Tachikawa Ki-17 (or failing that the the Ki-9)
QUOTE]
And we have a winner!
It is in fact the Tachikawa Ki-17.
from wikipedia: “…The Ki-17 was introduced to service as the βArmy Type 95-3 Basic Grade Trainer Model Aβ under the former aircraft naming nomenclature system. Tachikawa manufactured 658 Ki-17s between 1936 and 1943 and the type saw service with the Army Air Academy…”
Your turn, please.
As you need some orientation…;)
I can say that it is not american.
It was build in some numbers and used in at least two air forces.
It was built in the 1930’s and used as a basic trainer.
These are video stills of composite fabrication of panel & subsections which may be for the T-50, flateric thinks they might be and I certainly agree with him:
(c/o flateric).
Rather interesting fabrication; more details what is it for…?
The P-40 is a beauty
Thanks

Interesting airplane and backstory
My cristal ball came from its 2000 prophecies tune-up and this is what it came up with:
The aircraft in question appears to be the Freuller Valls Ma.
Should I send the cristal ball back for more tune-up, or is it ok now?:)
It has ressemblance to the Curtis A-8 Shrike…Or perhaps the Makhonine Mak-10…????
