I think the Typhoon have more future as the Rafale…It depends of when /if the Rafale will be exported…wait and see…

these are all speculations…We all know politics are doing always what they want…so let us wait and see…

I’d like to see the Typhoon in greek colors but who knows…

well I have pics from a greek magazine (cockpit) and there are some SRA and former ANG painted with the whole radome grey!…

But I think the two outside are PIs (you can barely see the IFF antenna)

the ability to turn with high gs is not as great in the Phantom as it is in the F-16.

But just build a Phantom with the new materials of today and give it a new ejection seat etc…. and then I want to see who’s gonna be the winner in the dogfight….

The Phantom, is beside other fighters the greatest the human brain ever designed.

The records, the combat history, the multi variants and the test bed (almost everythig is testd on the Phantom).

Look at the upgrade F-4s. The Peace Icarus 2000, ICE, Kurnass, Terminator, KAI.
Put a new generation engine in those Phantoms and you have to be very careful in the air!

Sure the new generation fighters are much more agile, but you’re talking about an almost 50 years old design!

Well the Phantom is now old but dangerous enough!..
