PH-OTH used to belong to KLM Aerocarto, which nowadays is called Aviodrome Aerocarto.
PH-OTH is presently registered to Fugro Aerial Mapping B.V.
Also nice to see the 1:1 scale “Airfix” Sptifire.
BTW.
The Neptune did’nt look that splendid 2 months ago. Nicely done.
Is that Dove 6 G-ANUW in the background? In 1970 I made 3 flights in the righthand seat of this nice aircraft. What a shame that she ended this way.
Good plan. But where do i get an 18% gray-card?
The Kodak reference is R-27. Available from many suppliers of photographic tools like http://www.firstcall-photographic.co.uk/products/919/kodak-gray-card-r-27-set-of-2-grey-cards
There are several other manufacturers offering similar cards, but do not make the mistake to buy a grey-card which is especially designed for white balance purposes. Those cards (e.g. WhiBal) are often much lighter grey than 18% reflectance and when used for light-reading will result in underexposure.
Is it grey or gray ???
Aerovet
In English it should be “grey”, but Kodak used to mention those cards “Gray card”.
My oldest is only from 1969, but my Observers Book of Aircraft copies go back a little bit more to 1958…
Use Manual for exposure setting! Take a gray-card reading (e.g. using a Kodak 18% gray-card or similar) and use this setting for all pages to get uniform exposures.
Inside Heathrow Control Tower – 1970
I visited the Heathrow Control Tower in 1970. A few pics…

A KLM DC(6?) also took part with a full load of pax for New Zealand I think.
KLM DC-6A PH-TGA “DR. I.R.M. Damme” was the winner in the handicap-section of the London – Christchurch race. A few years ago a movie (“Bride Flight”) was made, which was situated around the participation of the KLM DC-6A in that race. For this movie G-APSA was painted in the 1953 livery of KLM’s PH-TGA.

A bit off topic here but I never though it would fly with so short stubby wings!
I agree; a F104 is merely a rocket with mudguards…. 🙂

I’m not very familiar with all options for Sony DSLR’s (being a Nikon man myself), but I suspect that a Tamron 70-300mm F4.0-5.6 Di USD would be a good quality option for a rather moderate price.
I see from some photos posted around 20 September that it is no longer near the Mk IV nose. Where is it? Anybody have any photos of what it looks like lately?
cheers, Chris
My last picture of the Blenheim was made June 29th of this year.

This is how G-AKIU already looked like 2 years ago.
