Simple – didn’t know they were there! If Speke Boulevard went round the other side of the old airport then would have been in with a shout! 😀
Well pop in some time and I’ll treat you to a genuine 4-star marriott coffee 😀
Thanks TT – sadly this one will only fly in a virtual sense, but that is better than its current condition!
Roy.
Well was South Liverpool until about 2 years ago – now based Liverpool side of Warrington. So not exactly a million miles away 🙂
So where did you hide while we were busting our b***s putting the Jetstream and Grumman back together!? 😀
If you do give me a shout 🙂
Are you local Jon ? (Liverpool)
Roy,
How about a ‘pit to put the stuff into ?

Only £950.
Cheers Dave, I’ve been offered similar for half that price but sadly, this would make the project too big. 🙁
Doesn’t look like one of those ex-FAA Seahawks
Sea Hawks are a hobby, the HS-125 is my day job :diablo:
The parts are indeed from an HS-125 – well spotted!
I will have the full story behind these parts in a week or so when I get to talk with the guy who removed them from the aircraft.
The parts will be used as the basis for a flight simulator designed for procedural and navigational training. Not as exciting or as rewarding as an old warbird but enormous fun nonetheless – especially when you are being paid to do it!
Still need loads of parts like an overhead panel – if you can help, please do let me know.
Roy.
I would love to hear Joe Pasquale talking to ATC! Who says pantomine doesn’t pay!
LOL!! That has to be the funniest thing I’ve heard in a long time! 🙂
As I was walking past an historic aircraft one day, I heard a *BUMP*
Sea hawk tail – from the Vol.1
oh, Mark… care to share those sea hawk pics you took? 🙂
The rear fuse looks very much like that of a Sea Hawk
But it isn’t. Although the tail looks sea hawkish, I’m sure there’s a beefier bottom section in there for the tail hook.
I’ll grab my sea hawk ap’s !!
Whilst in the area, I stopped in at the Manchester viewing park last week to take a peek at the concorde there. Cost me 4 quid to drive in but then it is 12 quid per person to go aboard. Now I like hairyplanes, but 12 quid? Nah…
It was sad to see the trident still sat on a mixture of pallets and tyres too.
If you light the blue touch paper, you won’t need to push it any more….
I thought he only had a 31 – but thanks, worth a try!
I just looked at its nose art… isn’t that the bint from the scottish widows adverts?
🙂
303 bullets will always be ‘safe’ unless, for some inexplicable reason, you choose to swallow them.
Ah… NOW you tell us…
