Re. Black 6, at least there was something left of it to put in a museum unlike many other rare aircraft which are lost in crashes in this country.

Hopefully somebody with a brain will take his Dyson to the sand on the lower longeron and give us the construction number.

Judging by the videos, no one with a brain has been anywhere near it!

It took a long time for Duxford’s B29 to fly anywhere at all having sat in the desert for years!

No, not really. Some are bodged together for static display and have vital parts missing and others would be far too fragile. The B52 would have trouble taking off from Duxford’s runway though…

It’s almost identical to something which I saw a while ago, My Family at War. Fairly interesting though talking about the Battle of Britain whilst showing a D-Day striped Typhoon belly landing wasn’t quite accurate! Worth watching just for Lisa Faulkner though…
