For christ’s sake, Hendon is free to get into. Where else in the world can you see a Vulcan, Lancaster, B17, B24, Wellington, ‘Halifax’, Beaufighter, P47 et al all under one roof??? Same goes for the Battle of Britain and Graeme White hangars. If you don’t like it stay away!

You can get pretty close to Hendon’s Beaufighter, though you might need a torch…
With regard to the Halifax nose section, it is not an active project at the moment, remaining in the long queue for restoration:

I’m disappointed to see more construction work at a site so historic as Duxford. I know they have plenty of space, but the Land Warfare Hall just looks like a warehouse whilst the AAM is the completely wrong building in the completely wrong place.
